Every device is tested with PhoneCheck certified diagnostic software. The software tests the components one by one, and a device goes on sale only after passing every test.

  • Locks: no iCloud lock, Google Lock / FRP or carrier locks
  • Battery: health with no reservations
  • Components: display and touch, cameras, speakers, microphones, sensors
  • Cellular and SIM: mobile network, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS

Condition

Four types of offers

Every listing has one of four types. You will find it on the product page, next to the condition grade.

NewA new, unused device. It may have minor marks caused only by longer storage.
Ex-displayA device after display, with no regular use. It may have minimal marks.
UsedA device after technical inspection, fully working, with a visual grade from Excellent to Fair (grades described below).
Used with defectFully working, but with one described cosmetic defect (for example a cracked back cover). The type of defect and its impact on use are described in every listing (Outlet section below).

Visual condition grades

Every phone is graded against the same criteria. The photos show sample units of each grade (click a photo to enlarge it).

A device in excellent visual condition. It may show only a few very faint micro-scratches, truly minimal and visible only at a specific angle of light. Screen and casing free of dents and noticeable damage. Looks practically unused.

Only light, superficial signs of use, usually noticeable only on close inspection. Screen and casing free of deep scratches, dents and cracks. Works like new at a far more attractive price.

Visible but moderate signs of use: scratches, scuffs or dull patches may be present. The device is fully working and ready for everyday use. The best quality-to-price ratio.

Clear signs of use: deeper scratches, worn frame edges, possibly small dents in the casing. The screen may have scratches visible even when on, but no cracks. Despite the cosmetic wear the device remains fully working, at the lowest price.
